RAISING ALL BOATS THROUGH
INTEGRITY BASED LEADERSHIP
LEADERSHIP PHILOSOPHY
My leadership philosophy is based on advancing a vision of the world in which the majority of individuals live purpose driven lives that lift themselves, their families and their communities.
I believe
integrity matters,
authentic speech builds trust which creates possibilities,
and people are our greatest resource.
PROJECTS
Utilizing concepts and skills learned through ORGL, I created several training seminars focused on developing leadership skills for both new and experienced leaders. Most recently I created a training for first time leaders transitioning from crew member to crew supervisor and for whom English is not their first language.
LEADERSHIP COURSES
Reflections on competencies gained through Gonzaga’s ORGL Global Leadership Program. Five key competencies I’ve committed to engage with more conviction are:
ask powerful questions • active listening • challenge assumptions • build collaborative relationships • live & lead by ethical principles.

ABOUT ME
I’m a business owner and founder of an education non-profit. I’m so fortunate to be able to enhance the education industry by creating curriculum and organizations that promote innovation and excellence in education. We started a classical liberal arts charter high school that grew from 0 to 730 students in three years. It’s been so rewarding to get people from the community involved in the efforts and see such exceptional results.
My ability to build relationships enables me to work collaboratively across the organization. Tied in with that is my skill at communicating, which allows me to influence others in a productive way. Third, through collaboration and influence, I’ve exhibited the ability to identify and implement solutions to problems.
